Students use the fundamental steps and "linking" steps that are taught throughout the junior levels of the Jazz Dance New Zealand (JDNZ) syllabus to create longer sequences with their exercises. Exercises have a focus on technique, style and performance.

Students in Grade 2: have the opportunity to enter a JDNZ Exam, NZAMD Medal Test and/or to perform in our annual End of Year Recital.

Progression: Grade 2 Jazz progresses on to Grade 3 Jazz.
